Benicio Del Toro

Benicio Del Toro was born on February 19, 1967 in Santurce, Puerto Rico and was brought up there and in the farm country of Pennsylvania where his family relocated. He left the farm behind after high school and moved to California, where he attended the University of California at San Diego, studied business and planned on becoming a lawyer, like both of his parents, his grandfather, his godmother and his uncle. Benicio became fascinated with film during his childhood in Puerto Rico and Pennsylvania, and after he attended his first acting class, he enjoyed it so much that he decided to pursue it as his life's work...Full Biography
